Detailed text description: Virtual clusters connectivity

This page describes the virtual clusters connectivity diagram.

Overview

The diagram shows network communication paths between virtual cluster workloads and other Codesphere resources within the same resource group.

Main connectivity relationships

  1. Virtual cluster workloads:
  • Kubernetes services and pods run inside a virtual cluster boundary.
  1. Workspace access to cluster resources:
  • Workspaces in the same resource group can reach cluster services using internal addressing conventions.
  1. Cluster access to other resources:
  • Virtual cluster workloads can connect to landscape services and managed services in the same resource group.
  1. Shared platform networking:
  • Connectivity is provided through internal Codesphere networking rather than public internet exposure by default.

Key takeaway

Virtual clusters are integrated into the same internal networking model as landscapes and managed services, enabling bidirectional service communication inside the resource group.
