Installation Options
Codesphere provides several installation options to meet different requirements for security, connectivity, and management preferences. The following scenarios outline the different deployment models available.
Installation Guide
This guide provides comprehensive instructions for installing Codesphere Private Cloud. Codesphere is primarily delivered as a Helm chart, relying on two key external components: PostgreSQL for the database and Ceph for High-Available Distributed Storage. While these could be part of the Helm deployment, they are treated as external components for enhanced stability and robustness.
Cluster Ingress CA Options
Codesphere now supports multiple options for issuing and managing the Cluster Ingress CA, which is used to sign certificates for all ingress traffic within the cluster. This flexibility allows you to choose the best approach for your organization's security and operational requirements.
Cluster Monitoring
Codesphere provides two monitoring options for your private cloud installation: cluster-level monitoring for individual cluster oversight, and aggregated monitoring across multiple clusters for enterprise-wide visibility. Choose the option that best fits your operational needs.
Feature Flags
Codesphere organizes flags into two maturity levels, each configured differently in your config.yaml:
